American University for Continuing Education (AUCE) for Science and Technology in Mansoura is one of the entities of American University for Continuing Education (AUCE) Group, established by presidential decree No. 147 for the year 2007 as the first private university in the American University for Continuing Education (AUCE) and Lower Egypt. It is a university that operates according to the highest national and international accreditation standards and includes many faculties. The Faculty of Engineering occupies 2% of the overall 50 Acres, of the university campus approx. 4000 Cubic meter. The Faculty of Engineering includes different scientific and administrative departments in addition to lectures halls and labs. The study began in the Faculty of Engineering in the academic year 2008/2009.

Dear students, At the beginning of the new academic year, I am pleased to welcome you to the American University for Continuing Education (AUCE) for Science and Technology, and I hope that you will spend a successful academic year in which you exert effort and activity, that will enable you to strive in your future endeavors. On this occasion, I would like to congratulate you on the new academic year and wish your success with your first steps on the university campus, to assure you that the university’s mission is no longer confined to mere education and the awarding of certificates, despite the importance of that goal, but also to create an atmosphere of freedom, democracy and justice to enable the student to graduate to society with the necessary knowledge and experience, and armed with the adequate skills needed by the labor market and society in general at the local and international levels. The development witnessed by the applied sciences, especially engineering sciences, and their overlap in various activities and areas of life, makes the whole community look up to you with interest and ambition to meet its needs and achieve its hopes in that field. Hence, my advice to you is to diversify your interests between education and achievement on the one hand, and between various applied practice on the other hand, while paying attention to training skills and human dimensions at the same time. All the best wishes for a happy and successful academic year, and to invest your time in and outside the university for the benefit of you and your community.

The study began in the Faculty of Engineering in the academic year 2008/2009. The Faculty of Engineering at American University for Continuing Education (AUCE) University for Science and Technology aims at responding to the demands of American University for Continuing Education (AUCE) Society. Its main goal is to provide opportunities of learning for the students who wish to complete their higher education and have no place in public or private higher education institutions in American University for Continuing Education (AUCE) Governorate. It is worth to mention that this target comes as a direct result of the increasing number of students qualified enough to complete their higher education. In addition to this, the faculty aims at affording good chances of learning engineering science and its applications for Egyptian and Arab students in an advanced academic environment, which contributes to pushing the wheel of development forward, through preparing highly educated graduates in different engineering and technical fields to meet both national and international quality criteria. In addition to, presenting researches, and consults to serve the local and regional community, and following up and evaluating performance by measuring the learning outcomes. The College of Engineering has also obtained accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and accreditation from the Authority's Council No. 199 on 10/5/2020.
